This experience was donated by William Grant & Sons for their #STANDFAST campaign fundraising efforts to support The Drinks Trust & The BEN in providing assistance to the hospitality industry workforce affected by the COVID-19 crisis. 100% of proceeds will go to these charities.
Ailsa Bay is a future facing whisky, designed for the now, embracing technology like never before. It pioneers new possibilities through tech and is opening its doors for an exclusive behind-the-scenes distillery tour.
Hosted during your stay by brand ambassador Calum Fraser, the trip includes an evening stay and hospitality at the 5* Turnberry hotel, as well as a trip to some of the best bars in Scotland as Calum shows you around the finest venues Glasgow has to offer.
During your trip you will be introduced to what makes Ailsa Bay unique, including a tasting of exclusive cask samples from the 4 separate styles of barrels used to age our Sweet Smoke expression.
Get a very rare chance to meet the distiller-scientists pioneering new possibilities in whisky making at one of the world’s most technologically advanced distilleries.
Purchaser and anyone taking part in the experience must be aged 18 years old or over only.
Prize includes return travel to The Distillery from the UK or Ireland for 1 guest only, and includes overnight accommodation.
Date(s) and time(s) for the experience will be mutually agreed between purchaser and William Grant & Sons. Trip likely to take place in Summer 2021. Experience must be used by end of 2021.
Trip will take place when safe to do so due to global Covid 19 Pandemic, and in line with government & William Grant and Sons policy & guidelines.
The Ailsa Bay Distillery Trip can’t be:
• transferred without permission from William Grant & Sons UK Limited (WG&S), which won’t be unreasonably withheld; or
• exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part.
