Sellers Fees
Listing Fee
- The listing fee for all lots, including miniatures and memorabilia is £5 + VAT per lot. You may request to group bottles that fall into the same category via your packing slip notes section.
Reserve Price Fee
The fee for including a reserve price is £10 +VAT per lot. The reserve is the minimum price that must be bid for an item before it can be won/sold. Please note we do not accept reserves under £100. Our team may contact you to discuss your requested reserve price before your lot goes live.

VAT
Lots may be subject to VAT depending on the status of the buyer. Please see our dedicated Auction VAT Explained page for more details.
Insurance
Postal insurance to UK addresses is included at no extra charge. For deliveries outside of the UK, insurance is automatically added to your order, charged at 1% of the hammer price.
Buyers Fees
It’s easy to buy whisky online, just set up an online account on Whisky.Auction. The one-off registration fee of £5 enables you to bid on as many bottles and auctions as you like.
Commission fee
- 15% (+VAT) of the hammer price (we do not charge VAT on commission for all orders shipped outside the UK).
VAT
- VAT may be applied. Please see our dedicated Auction VAT Explained page for more details.
Late payments
- Additional 3% of the full invoice amount will be charged for payments not received in full within four working days of a winning bid.
Payment types
- No charge for debit or credit card payments.
- Any non-UK bank transfer costs must be met by the buyer.
