If you've won an item on Whisky.Auction, we will of course arrange delivery for you.
Our standard deliveries are made during normal business hours, Monday to Friday; to ensure prompt delivery, someone must be present to sign for the parcel.
We do not accept orders for certain address types –please read our delivery restrictions before placing an order.
After processing, all orders are despatched using a 24-hour service to most mainland destinations in the UK. For international orders, delivery times vary depending on location. Delivery charges are calculated based on the weight of the product and the destination address.
If you'd like to have the parcel delivered to an address that differs to the one you've registered with us, please add the delivery address during the checkout process, prior to payment.
Once your parcel has been shipped, we'll send you an email with a link that will enable you to track your package online.
Alternatively you can collect your bottles in person from our offices in London if you'd prefer.

If you wish to click & collect your items in person, select the 'Collection' option at checkout.
When you come to pick up your order, you must bring your order reference number as well as proof of ID.
We're able to hold bottles in our office for free for a maximum of 10 working days, after which we charge storage fees of £2 per lot per day.
Punctuality of Service
Please note that we are unable to guarantee the punctuality of service provided by our delivery agents, particularly during spells of difficult weather conditions. If your shipment is delivered unacceptably late after having been collected from us on time by our agent, we will try to secure a refund where appropriate.
We take pride in packing your order to ensure that it arrives in perfect condition. Unfortunately, there are times when parcels incur damage while in transit.
If your items arrive damaged, you must contact us immediately.
Proof of the damage must also be provided. We will need to see photos of the damaged items, including a photo of the bottle seal.
We are happy to delivery your orders to an address that is different to your registerred billing address. To do this, simply enter your desired delivery address into your profile before checking out.
Due to differing rules imposed by couriers, aviation authorities and local legislative bodies regarding the national and international shipment of alcohol, please note that the following restrictions apply to our deliveries:
PO Box Numbers
Orders with Post Box Numbers as delivery addresses will not be dispatched and processing will be delayed while we contact you for a valid delivery address.
British Forces Post Office (BFPO)
No products with an alcohol by volume (ABV) over 24% may be sent to a BFPO address.
No products with an alcohol-by-volume (ABV) over 60% may be sent to Norway.
We have now resumed shipments to some EU destinations:
We are shipping regularly to Belgium, Germany, Ireland and Netherlands.
Sadly we are not currently be able to ship to addresses in Italy, France, Spain, Poland, Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, Finland or Sweden.
We are experiencing some delays shipping to all other EU destinations, please contact us before bidding if you have any concerns.
Delivery to Alaska (Anchorage) and Hawaii will incur an additional £6 per kg surcharge.
We are unable to deliver your order to:

- Alaska (outside Anchorage)
- New Hampshire
- West Virginia
- American Samoa
- Northern Mariana Islands
- Puerto Rico
- Virgin Islands
We insure your winning lots automatically.
Insurance, which covers the safe delivery of your items, is free for UK customers.
For international deliveries the fee for insurance is 1% of your total order. This will be automatically added to your invoice.
