Description

A bottle of Kilkerran 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky, matured in a combination of bourbon casks and sherry casks. The bottling code indicates this was bottled in 2016.

Kilkerran is the name of the single malt produced at Glengyle distillery. The name is derived from the Gaelic 'Ceann Loch Cille Chiarain' which is the name of the original settlement where Saint Kieran had his religious cell, and Campbeltown now stands.

The distillery reopened in 2004 after being closed for more than 80 years.
