A rare bottle from the Noh range – Karuizawa 1983 vintage, bottled in 2012 from sherry butt 7579 at 57.2% ABV. This bottling was exclusive to the UK market when bottled for Prineus GmbH Germany.

This single sherry butt #7576, won a gold medal at the Malt Maniacs Awards 2012 - another super Karuizawa.

Karuizawa was founded in 1955 and was Japan’s smallest whisky distillery. In 1959, they became the first distillery to export whisky overseas. Sadly, Karuizawa distillery stopped production in 2000 and closed for good in 2011.
