A miniature bottle of North Port-Brechin 17 Year Old single malt Scotch whisky. This was distilled in December 1976 and bottled at 64.1% ABV in November 1994 by Cadenhead's.
North Port, or Brechin, was established in 1820 in the eastern Highlands under the name Townhead. The name was changed to Brechin in 1832, and to North Port in 1839. Throughout its lifetime, the majority of its output went into blends. The first official bottlings were the Rare Malts releases in the mid 1990s, ten years after the distillery closed.
