The Highland whisky region is certainly Scotland's largest in terms of area and boasts a diverse range of styles among its output.
In the far south we have Glengoyne's unpeated, gentle malt; Oban's maritime fruitiness comes from Scotland's west coast; from the north east coast, Clynelish's waxy, fresh apple malt; and Glen Garioch's spicy, fruitcake dram in the east.
