Description

A bottle of Craigellachie 18 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky. This was distilled in November 1995, matured in a single sherry butt and bottled in August 2014 by Douglas Laing & Co. Ltd. for the Old Particular series.

This is one of 252 bottles; this was bottled from cask number DL10419.

In the 1890s, whisky expert Alfred Barnard noted that Craigellachie represented an old fashioned style of whisky 'seldom met with now'. Today, the distillery has maintained its traditional methods, using worm tubs to cool the spirit from the stills.
