Description

A bottle of Lochside 1981. This was distilled in 1981 and bottled in 2000 by Gordon & MacPhail as a part of the Rare Old series.

Lochside was founded as a brewery in 1781 and in 1957 it was converted to a distillery producing grain and malt whisky. After several changes of ownership, it was mothballed in 1992 and demolished in 2005.
