Lochside

An auctioneer's guide to Lochside, Montrose's closed Highland malt distillery.

Lochside was founded as a brewery in 1781. In 1957 it was converted to a distillery to produce grain and malt whisky. After several changes of ownership, it was mothballed in 1992 and demolished in 2005.
