A bottle of Ardmore single malt Scotch whisky. This was distilled in 1977 and bottled in 2003 to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of Italian importer Samaroli.
This is bottle number 000710 of 738; this was bottled from cask number 7631.
Ardmore was founded in 1898 by William Teacher's son Adam, who decided that the family needed their own malt whisky distillery. It has been an important component in the Teacher's blend since the beginning, meaning it has remained understated as a single malt, with few official bottlings released. Aside from being, unusually, a peated Highland malt, it was also one of the last distilleries to switch from coal-fired to steam-heated stills.
Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note wear to the label.
Note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing. Older bottles often contain small amounts of sediment.
This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
