Description

A bottle of Lochside 20 Year Old. This was distilled in May 1981, matured in a single refill sherry cask, and bottled by Murray McDavid in December 2001.

This was bottled from cask number MM2106.

Lochside was founded as a brewery in 1781 and in 1957 it was converted to a distillery producing grain and malt whisky. After several changes of ownership, it was mothballed in 1992 and demolished in 2005.
