Description

A bottle of North Port 24 Year Old from Duncan Taylor's Rarest of the Rare series, a range of cask strength, single cask whiskies from distilleries which no longer exist.

This was distilled in April 1981, and bottled in May 2005.

This is bottle number 291 of 620; it was bottled from cask number 774.

North Port (Brechin) distillery, otherwise known as Townhead, first distilled whisky in 1820. In 1983 it was deemed too small to be commercially viable, and was closed.
