Lochside 1981 Bourbon Cask 21 Year Old Jewels Of Scotland 70cl / 50%

A bottle of Lochside 21 Year Old. This was distilled in 1981 and matured in a single bourbon cask before bottling by Lombard Scotch Whisky for the Jewels of Scotland series.

Lochside distillery was converted from an 18th century brewery in 1957 by Joseph Hobbs, owner of Ben Nevis, Bruichladdich, Glenkinchie, Glenesk, Benromach and Glenury Royal. During the 1960s and 1970s, most of the output went into the Sandy McNab blend. The only official bottling from the distillery was a 10 year old released in 1991, the year Lochside closed.
