A bottle of Glengoyne The Bard Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, distilled on 18 November 2009, matured in a single Madeira Hogshead and bottled in February 2023 at 55.9% ABV.

This private cask was bottled from Single Cask number 1019. This is bottle 041 of 291.

This private bottling is named 'Bard' after Frank Noble Wood (aka 'Acorn'), the seller's grandfather, who won the Exeter Eisteddfod Bardic Chair for Poetry in 1921 for a poem called Hearts Desire. His prize was a hand carved chair which is shown on the label. Frank Noble Wood died in 1962.
