Description
A bottle of Ardmore 12 Year Old Centenary Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky.
'This limited edition bottling was released in 1999 to celebrate Ardmore’s centenary. The distillery was built by Teacher’s at Kennethmont in Aberdeenshire to be a heart malt for their blends; at that time it was one of the few distilleries which continued to use direct fired stills (by coal), but these were converted to steam heating three years later. This historic bottle was kindly donated by Alan Winchester, former director of production with Chivas Brothers.' Charlie Maclean
