This lot was donated by Lenny Russell and Gordon Dundas at Ian Macleod Distillers to raise money for The MacLean Foundation.
A bottle of Glengoyne 1984 36 Year Old The Russell Family Single Cask bottled in 2021.
'Super-rare, and one of the oldest whiskies ever released by Glengoyne, this sherry-matured whisky was personally selected by three generations of the owning family, Peter, Leonard and Tom Russell, under their "Family Cask" label. The late Peter Russell bought Glengoyne in 2003 (through Ian Macleod Distillers) and put the formerly little-known malt firmly on the map.' Charlie Maclean
