A bottle of Clynelish 1965 28 Year Old Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky. This was distilled on 19 February 1965 at the distillery now known as Brora, matured in a single sherry butt and bottled in July 1993 by Signatory Vintage.

This is bottle number 172 of 520; it was bottled from cask number 666.

When this distillery was built in 1819 it was called Clynelish. In 1967, a second distillery was built alongside which became known as Clynelish 2. A law was passed which banned two distilleries from having the same name, so in 1975 the original Clynelish was renamed Brora.

This Clynelish 1965 28 Year Old Cask 666 sold at our online auction for £4,000
