Description

A bottle of North Port 17 Year Old, distilled in 1964 and bottled in 1981 by Cadenhead's.

North Port distillery was founded in 1820 under the name Townhead. It was renamed Brechin in 1832 and North Port in 1839. Throughout its life, most of the distillery's output went into blends, though some independent bottlings of single malt, such as this one, do exist. The distillery closed in 1983.
