A bottle of Glenury Royal 36 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky presented in an elegant oval bottle with a cork stopper. This was distilled in 1970 and bottled at 57.9% ABV in 2007 for Diageo's Special Releases.

This is bottle number 870 of 1926.

Glenury Royal was founded in 1825 near Stonehaven in the Eastern Highlands by Captain Robert Barclay, a colourful character who once walked 1000 miles in 1000 hours to win a bet. Glenury fell silent in 1983 and was closed 1985.
