This lot contains three bottles of Greywacke Wild Ferment Sauvignon Blanc 2010 from Marlborough, New Zealand. This was barrel-fermented using wild yeast by former Cloudy Bay winemaker Kevin Judd.
‘To combat the idea that Sauvignon doesn't age, Judd pulled out a bottle of the 2010 Wild Sauvignon, which continues to drink well. 92/100’ Tasted 2019, Joe Czerwinski, RobertParker.Com
This lot comes from the temperature-controlled cellar of media businessman and wine enthusiast Lord Evgeny Lebedev, where they have been kept since purchase direct from UK importers.
Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note wear and damage to the labels. There is some minor damage to the top of one of the caps.
Note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing. Older bottles often contain small amounts of sediment. We cannot guarantee that the contents of this bottle will be free from the effects of age, cork taint, oxidation or other faults.
This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
