Description

A bottle of Bruichladdich X4 Islay Quadruple Distilled New Spirit, bottled by Murray McDavid.

This is produced from barley distilled four times in Victorian copper stills and bottled without ageing in oak casks, a traditional spirit from the Western Isles, based on a 17th century recipe.

Although it is distilled from barley, the lack of cask ageing means that this is not technically whisky.
