An Eastwood Airline Tremolectric Electric Guitar with Sailor Jerry tattoo graphics.
This was made in 2011 by Canadian company Eastwood Guitars, who specialise in reproducing classic guitars of bygone eras, in collaboration with rum brand Sailor Jerry. Eastwood guitars are made in China, Korea and Indonesia. Final inspections and set-ups are conducted at facilities in the US or UK
This guitar is modelled on the Supro Airline Tremolectric, made by Valco in the 1960s. It features a chambered mahogany body with rubber binding and a 25 1/2″ (64.8cm) bolt-on maple neck. The rosewood fingerboard is inlaid with mother-of-pearl fret markers.
The Alnico Hot-10 Humbucker pickups are controlled by two individual on/off switches and two tone and volume controls. The hardware includes Wilkinson Deluxe machine heads and a Tone-O-Matic bridge. The scratchplate is still covered with the original plastic film.
This comes in an Eastwood hard case with a 1/4" jack cable, an alan key, and a pair of additional black pickup frames.
Please see images for condition. Note wear to the case.
