A bottle of Sazerac de Forge & Fils Fine Champagne Royale Cognac. We estimate this was bottled in the 1950s.

Cognac from Sazerac de Forge was the spirit used in the original 19th century Sazerac cocktail, before Phylloxera destroyed Cognac's vineyards and alternative ingredients, like rye whiskey, came to be used instead.
