Description

A bottle of Talisker 100 Proof with the black label, gold eagle design. This was bottled by Gordon & MacPhail, we estimate in the 1970s.

Please note there is no size stated on the label.

Talisker was founded in 1830 by Hugh MacAskill and is the oldest distillery on the Isle of Skye. The Scottish poet Robert Louis Stevenson described it as 'the king o' drinks', and it is known for its powerful peat smoke and maritime character.
