This lot contains three miniature bottles of Grant's Morella Cherry Brandy, produced by Thomas Grant & Sons Ltd. at Queen's Distillery, Maidstone. We estimate these were bottled in the 1950s to 1960s.
The label carries a portrait of Queen Victoria, who was known to have enjoyed Grant's Morella Cherry Brandy, and the company was awarded a royal warrant by the Prince of Wales. It continued to be produced in Maidstone until the 1960s, when the company was taken over.
Please note, there is no size stated on the labels but these appear to be 5cl bottles.
Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note wear to labels and capsules.
Note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing. Older bottles often contain small amounts of sediment. We cannot guarantee that the contents of this bottle will be free from the effects of age, cork taint, oxidation or other faults.
This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
