Dalmore Cromartie 1996 Lands of Clan Mackenzie 70cl / 45%

A bottle of Dalmore Cromartie Single Malt Scotch Whisky. The vintage on the front label is stated as 1996, though the accompanying booklet explains that this is a combination of 1995 and 1996 vintage casks matured in American white oak and Spanish oak seasoned with oloroso sherry.

This is the third release of the Clan Mackenzie series, and celebrates the lands of Cromartie and Castle Leod, the family seat of the Mackenzie family, owners of Dalmore for almost a century. A substantial proportion of profits from each bottle originally sold were contributed to the maintenance of the estate.
