Description

A 1977 vintage from Karuizawa distillery, this was bottled in 2009 at a massive strength of 62.7% ABV. It scored 91 points on Whiskyfun.com.

The name of this bottle comes from an anecdote when Katsushika Hokusai, a renowned Japanese artist, tried to pour a dram for a friend, the Polish composer Chopin, while he was playing piano. Chopin's reaction was: 'Wait, La Mazurka!'
