An old presentation bottle of Van Winkle's highly-sought-after 12 Year Old.

As this is a pre-1999 bottling, indicated by the green glass used, we would expect this to contain some of the whiskey purchased from Stitzel-Weller before the closure of the Hoffman plant in Lawrenceburg. The Van Winkle brand left Lawrenceburg in 2002 after the merger with Buffalo Trace and began bottling in Frankfort, Kentucky, from this point through to the present day.

It's believed that Stitzel-Weller whiskey can still be found in Van Winkle 12 Year Old through to as late as the 2005 bottlings.
