In our 'Whiskey - USA' category you will find any whiskeys produced in the United States, from Tennessee Sour Mash to Kentucky Straight Bourbon and everything in between.
Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a type of American whiskey produced in Kentucky, from a mash bill of at least 51% corn (maize). It must be aged in charred new oak casks for a minimum of two years. Remove the 'Kentucky' for any whiskey made to these specifications outside of Kentucky. For Tennessee whiskey, filter that whiskey through charcoal in a process known as the Lincoln County process before bottling.
Well known American whisky brands include Jack Daniel's, Buffalo Trace Antique Collection, Four Roses, Eagle Rare, Blanton's and Jim Beam.
