Description

A 50cl bottle of yellow Chartreuse VEP liqueur, bottled in 1997. The bottle and wax seal are an exact replica of those used up until 1840.

The Carthusian monks that produce Chartreuse select a small portion of the liqueur each year for extra ageing. VEP stands for 'Vieillissement Exceptionnellement Prolongé', which translates as 'exceptionally prolonged aging'.

This is bottle number 016307.

This Chartreuse VEP Yellow sold at our online auction for £190

Condition

Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note damage to the labels and the wax seal.
