Description

A miniature bottle of Clynelish 12 Year Old Finest Highland Malt Scotch Whisky, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail. We estimate this was bottled in the 1970s, in which case, it would have been distilled in the original Clynelish distillery, now known as Brora.

Please note there is no size stated on the label, but this appears to be a 5cl bottle.

The Clynelish distillery we know today was built in 1968 alongside the original Clynelish, which was subsequently renamed Brora. The distillery was owned by Distillers Company Limited (later United Distillers then Diageo). The malt, known for its waxy character, has played an important role in Johnnie Walker blends.
