Description

A litre bottle of Chartreuse VEP Green liqueur from France. This was matured in oak casks and bottled in 1975. This was imported to Italy by P Soffiantino &Co.

This is bottle number 2629.

The Carthusian monks that produce Chartreuse select a small portion of the liqueur each year for extra ageing. VEP stands for 'Vieillissement Exceptionnellement Prolongé', which translates as 'exceptionally prolonged aging'.
