A 1977 vintage from the legendary Karuizawa distillery, this was bottled in 2009 at a massive strength of 62.7% ABV. It scored 91/100 on Whiskyfun.com.

The name of this bottle comes from an anecdote when Katsushika Hokusai, a renowned Japanese artist, tried to pour a friend Frédéric Chopin, the Polish composer, a dram while Chopin was playing piano. Chopin's reaction was to exclaim 'Wait, La Mazurka!'
