Hanyu 2000 Seven of Clubs Cask 7004 70cl / 59%
This Japanese whisky comes from the now sadly defunct Hanyu distillery, which stopped distilling in 2000 and was dismantled in 2004. At the time Ichiro Akuto, the grandson of the founders of Hanyu distillery, decided to purchase the remaining stock and bottle it as the Cards series – a set of limited-edition bottlings, each named after one of the cards in a standard deck.
Hanyu Seven of Clubs was matured in refill American-oak hogsheads.
Bottle 63 of 345.
