Japanese Whisky Auction

This Japanese whisky comes from the now sadly defunct Hanyu distillery, which stopped distilling in 2000 and was dismantled in 2004. At the time Ichiro Akuto, the grandson of the founders of Hanyu distillery, decided to purchase the remaining stock and bottle it as the Cards series – a set of limited-edition bottlings, each named after one of the cards in a standard deck.

Hanyu Two of Diamonds was given a bourbon finish.

Bottle 94 of 259.

This Hanyu 1991 Two of Diamonds sold at our online auction for £1,350
