Description

A bottle of Talisker 1988 Distillers Edition. This was distilled in 1988, double matured in amoroso sherry casks and bottled in 2001.

Talisker was founded in 1830 by Hugh MacAskill and is the oldest distillery on the Isle of Skye. The Scottish poet Robert Louis Stevenson described it as 'the king o' drinks', and it is known for its powerful peat smoke and maritime character.
