A bottle of Rosebank 22 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky. This was distilled in February 1990, finished in a sherry cask and bottled in October 2012 by Ian Macleod for the Chieftain's Choice series.
This is one of 512 bottles: it was bottled from cask number 93361.
Rosebank was a Lowland distillery that operated on the same site from 1840 until it was mothballed in 1993. The whisky produced there typified the light, floral Lowland style, and like some of its neighbours, the whisky was triple-distilled. Jim Murray (Whisky Bible) maintained that Rosebank should be ranked in the top 5 of all Scottish malts.
