Ledaig 1990 Bottled 1990s - Connoisseurs Choice 5cl

A miniature bottle of Ledaig Island Single Malt Scotch Whisky distilled in 1990, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail as part of the Connoisseurs Choice series. The bottling code indicates this was bottled in 1999.

Ledaig the name is given to the peated malt produced at Tobermory distillery on the Isle of Mull. However, between 1972 and 1975, all whisky produced at Tobermory was called Ledaig, whether peated or unpeated.

This lot comes from the extensive collection of a Merseyside collector who began his hobby with bottles bought for guests as digestifs at private dinner parties in the early 1970s. His interest led to him advertising in the UK national newspapers, and buying and selling bottles as far afield as Australia, America and Ireland, with his last significant addition being a collection he purchased from Stoke On Trent in 1984.
