This bottling honours Julian 'Pappy' Van Winkle, who was the first of the family to enter the distilling industry.

Bottled in June 2007 – the first year Buffalo Trace introduced laser codes for the Van Winkle range – this contains whiskey from the legendary Stitzel-Weller distillery.

The Beverage Testing Institute rated this 20 Year Old as the world's number-one bourbon, scoring 99 points.

Bottled in tiny quantities, this sells out almost instantaneously each year, making it a strong collector's item.
