A miniature bottle of Linlithgow 18 Year Old Single Lowland Malt Scotch Whisky. This was distilled in 1982 and bottled at 61.6% ABV by Scotland Direct as part of The Whisky Connoisseur's Lost Legends series.

Linlithgow (also known as St Magdalene) was a Lowland distillery that operated for over 200 years before closing in 1983. Since then, it has become one of the most lamented lost distilleries and its whiskies are highly sought-after.

This lot comes from the extensive collection of a Merseyside collector who began his hobby with bottles bought for guests as digestifs at private dinner parties in the early 1970s. His interest led to him advertising in the UK national newspapers, and buying and selling bottles as far afield as Australia, America and Ireland, with his last significant addition being a collection he purchased from Stoke On Trent in 1984.
