A bottle of Highland Park 26 Year Old single malt Scotch whisky, bottled in collaboration with Danish photographer Søren Solkær to celebrate his 26 years as a 'visual storyteller'.

This was selected by Master Whisky Maker, Gordon Motion, matured in a combination of sherry-seasoned American oak and first-fill bourbon casks, and bottled at 40.5% ABV. The set includes a leather-bound book featuring photographs drawn from the 26 years of Søren Solkær's career.

The history of Highland Park distillery is shrouded in mystery, with even the identity of its founder being disputed. It was built on the remote island of Orkney in 1798, either by farmer David Robertson, or priest turned whisky smuggler Magnus Eunson. The first single malts were released in the 1970s, and the distillery has become known for its use of Orcadian peat to dry the barley (lighter than mainland or Islay peat), and sherry casks for maturation.
