A bottle of Talisker 30 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky from the Isle of Skye. This was matured in oak casks for 30 years and bottled in 2012.

This is bottle number 2258 of 3186.

Talisker was founded in 1830 by Hugh MacAskill and is the oldest distillery on the Isle of Skye. The Scottish poet Robert Louis Stevenson described it as 'the king o' drinks', and it is known for its powerful peat smoke and maritime character.
