A bottle of Glenury Royal 36 Year Old, distilled in 1968 and bottled for Diageo's Special Releases 2005. This is presented in an elegant oval bottle with a cork stopper.

This is bottle number 1644 of 2100.

Glenury Royal was founded in 1825 near Stonehaven in the Eastern Highlands by Captain Robert Barclay, a colourful character who once walked 1000 miles in 1000 hours to win a bet. Glenury fell silent in 1983 and was closed 1985.
