Description

A bottle of Auchentoshan 12 Year Old Pure Malt Scotch whisky, distilled and bottled by Eadie Cairns. We estimate this was bottled in the 1980s.

Since Auchentoshan distillery was built in 1817 (then named Duntocher), it has withstood 13 different owners, bankruptcy, and a bombing raid in World War II. It is the only Scotch distillery to triple-distil all its whisky, and 100% of its output goes into its single malt bottlings.
