A special edition bottle of Highland Park Capella, released to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the building of the Italian Chapel on Orkney by Italian prisoners of war.
Between 1942 and 1945, the Orcadian island of Lamb Holm was home to 550 Italian prisoners of war. Together they constructed a chapel which became known as the 'Miracle of Camp 60'. At the forefront of the project was Domenico Chiocchetti, who stayed behind after release to complete the chapel. Chiocchetti returned to the island twice in the 1960s to carry out restoration work. He made his last visit in 1995, after which he painted the picture which adorns the box and label. It depicts the Italian Chapel set against the Dolomite mountains, a view he enjoyed from his hometown of Moena. This bottling was selected by Domenico's children, Fabio, Letizia and Angela Chiocchetti.
