Description

A bottle of Auchentoshan Three Wood. This Lowland single malt was triple distilled and matured first in American bourbon casks and finished in Spanish oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.

Since Auchentoshan distillery was built in 1817 (then named Duntocher), it has withstood 13 different owners, bankruptcy, and a bombing raid in World War II. It is the only Scotch distillery to triple-distil all its whisky, and 100% of its output goes into its single malt bottlings.
