A bottle of Talisker 25 Year Old, bottled in 2008 at 54.2% ABV.

This is bottle number 0843 OF 9708.

Talisker was founded in 1830 by Hugh MacAskill and is the oldest distillery on the Isle of Skye. The Scottish poet Robert Louis Stevenson described it as 'the king o' drinks', and it is known for its powerful peat smoke and maritime character.
