Description

A bottle of Springbank 12 Year Old. This was distilled on 15 December 2006, matured in a fresh sherry cask, and bottled at cask strength on20 May 2019. This was bottled for 'The Cage' in Cadenhead's Campbeltown shop, which features one-off hand-bottlings from Springbank, Longrow and Hazelburn.

Springbank is a family-owned Campbeltown distillery, founded in 1828. The complete process of whisky production is carried out on site, from malting the barley to bottling the whisky. Today, it is one of only three distilleries remaining in Campbeltown.
