Pappy Van Winkle's 15 Year Old Family Reserve Pre-2007– Stitzel-Weller 70cl / 53.5%

The Pappy Van Winkle range of whiskies has exploded in popularity over the past decade. Produced in small quantities, it sells out in seconds and bottles change hands for vast sums of money.

As this bottle does not have a laser code – introduced by Buffalo Trace in 2007 – we estimate that it would have been bottled between 2002 and then. This would mean that it contains whiskey from the Stitzel-Weller distillery.

This bottling honours Julian 'Pappy' Van Winkle, who was the first of the famous family to enter the distilling industry.
